1. What trading pairs are supported for Copy Trading on RooEx?
Currently, only USDT is supported.
2. Is KYC required for Copy Trading?
Yes, KYC Level 1 for individuals or corporate KYC is required.
3. What are the fees for Copy Trading?
The trading fees and funding fees are the same as those for regular futures trading. No additional fees are charged.
4. Can I copy multiple traders simultaneously?
Yes, users can copy up to 10 traders at a time. Please note that the parameters set for each trader are independent and may differ from others. Orders from different traders will not be merged.
5. Why was my copied position liquidated while the trader's position was not?
This may be caused by the following factors:
- Leverage ratio: If the user uses higher leverage than the trader, there is a greater risk of liquidation because the liquidation price is closer to the entry price.
- Average entry price: Slippage or copying failure may cause the copied trade's average entry price to differ from the trader's.
6. Why is my leverage different from the trader's leverage even though I selected "Follow Trader Leverage"?
If your balance is insufficient, you may not be able to follow the trader's adjusted leverage.
Example:
- Period A: Trader A opens a position with 20x leverage, and User B copies the trade.
- Period B: Trader A adjusts leverage from 20x to 30x, and User B copies the trade.
- Period C: Trader A opens a position with 30x leverage, and User B follows.
- Period D: Trader A reduces leverage again from 30x to 10x. User B’s leverage remains at 30x due to insufficient funds to meet the new margin requirement.
- Period E: Trader A closes the position with 10x leverage. User B’s position is closed with leverage shown as 30x.
7. Why did my trade fail to copy the trader?
Here are some common reasons:
- The trader has reached the maximum number of followers.
- The trader you selected has been deactivated.
8. Will I automatically copy all open positions for a trader after following them?
No, only trades initiated after you start copying the trader will be copied. Additionally, due to reasons such as insufficient funds, not all trades may be copied successfully.
9. Why are some trades not copied?
If certain trades fail to copy, it may be for the following reasons:
- Insufficient funds to copy the trade.
- The maximum copy limit has been reached.
- Slippage exceeds the maximum limit set by the user. For example, if the maximum allowable slippage is set at 1.8%, and the copied trade's execution price exceeds the trader's entry price by 1.8%, the trade will not be copied. However, minor differences in execution price due to fluctuations may still occur.
- The maximum margin for a single contract or the daily limit set by the user has been reached.
10. When does the system automatically cancel my copy follow?
If a user fails to copy trades due to insufficient order cost 20 consecutive times or fails to copy more than 100 times in 24 hours (starting from the first failed trade), the system will automatically cancel the follow for that trader.
Possible reasons include:
- Insufficient funds.
- The user's order cost and leverage settings do not meet the minimum trade size.
If the user still holds open positions, the system will not automatically cancel the follow. You will be notified via email if your copying fails or is automatically canceled.
- The trader removes the user from their whitelist of followers.
11. Are there limits on the investment amount for copying trades?
- Maximum fixed margin (per transaction): Based on the trader’s settings.
- Maximum copy limit (per contract): 100,000 USDT.
