RooEx User Agreement
Welcome to use the services provided by RooEx (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform" or "the Company"). To ensure the legality, transparency, and effective protection of user rights, this agreement is hereby formulated. Please read this agreement carefully before registering as a RooEx user and ensure that you fully understand the terms of the agreement. Registering or using the platform services indicates that you have agreed to all terms of this agreement.
Chapter 1: General Provisions
I. Nature and Purpose of the Agreement
1. Legal Binding
This agreement is a legally binding agreement between the user (hereinafter referred to as "User" or "You") and ROOSYS LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as "Company"), concerning the use of the RooEx platform and its related services. It clearly stipulates the rights and obligations between the user and the company while using the services.
2. Purpose of the Agreement
This agreement is based on the principles of legality, fairness, and transparency to standardize user behavior and platform service standards, ensuring the legal rights of users in conducting transactions and using related services involving digital assets (including but not limited to virtual currencies) on the platform.
II. Amendment and Termination of the Agreement
1. Right to Amend
Based on global regulatory policies and business development needs, the Company reserves the right to modify or update this agreement. Any amendments will be pre-notified to users in an appropriate manner (such as platform announcements, emails, etc.). The amended agreement will take effect upon official release and announcement on the platform. Continued use of services implies acceptance of the modifications.
2. User Choice
Before the amendments take effect, users have the right to choose whether to continue using the platform services. If users do not agree with the amendments, they can proactively apply to cancel their accounts or cease using the services.
3. Right to Terminate the Agreement
Both the company and the user have the right to suspend or terminate this agreement in accordance with relevant provisions. Specific details are outlined in "Chapter 7: Termination and Restriction of Services."
III. Definitions and Terminology
1. User
Refers to individuals or entities who register an account on the RooEx platform, complete identity verification, and accept this agreement and related rules. Users should have full civil capacity and comply with applicable laws.
2. Digital Assets
Include but are not limited to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other virtual currencies supported by decentralization or blockchain technology. Digital assets do not include legal currency issued by central banks or national governments.
3. User Account ID and Password
Refers to the login credentials set by users during registration, to be kept securely by the user and used solely by the individual or authorized representative.
4. Merchant and Buyer
- Merchant: Users intending to sell digital assets via the platform.
- Buyer: Users intending to purchase digital assets via the platform.
Both must complete platform certification and identity verification (KYC) requirements.
5. Services
Include but are not limited to digital asset transactions, storage, exchange, related financial products, and other services supported by the platform.
Chapter 2: Use and Application of Services
IV. User Registration Conditions
1. User Registration Procedure
Users need to submit true, valid personal information and complete identity verification through the RooEx official website (www.rooex.io) or authorized mobile applications to be entitled to use platform services. Upon platform approval, users can obtain account and full service access.
2. KYC and AML Requirements
According to applicable laws (e.g., anti-money laundering laws) and global regulatory requirements, users must complete “Know Your Customer” (KYC) and other identity verification procedures, including but not limited to submitting identity documents (such as passport, driver's license) and residency proof (like bills or bank documents). The company reserves the right to request further verification to ensure compliance.
3. Age Restriction
Users must meet the legal age requirement (e.g., 18 or 19 years, depending on applicable laws) to use the services. Minors are not allowed to register or use the platform.
4. Prohibited Actions and Legal Liabilities
Users must not register accounts through false identities (including others' information or fabricated information); if users provide false information or engage in suspicious activities, the company has the right to terminate their services and report to relevant regulatory authorities. Users bear all legal and economic liabilities for such actions.
V. Application and Use of Services
1. Application and Use of Services
After submitting an application through official company channels and agreeing to the terms of this agreement, users may gain related service access. During the submission process, users must adhere to the following provisions:
- All information provided must be truthful and valid;
- Users are obligated to update information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Service Limitations
The company reserves the right to impose restrictions on certain users or services according to regulatory requirements or its own risk management strategies, including but not limited to:
- Regional Restrictions: Users from certain countries or regions may be prohibited from registering or using services due to legal restrictions;
- Service Suspension: Services may be suspended in emergency situations (e.g., network security threats or new regulations).
3. Service Notifications
Platform notifications may occur via email, SMS, or official announcements. Users have the right to opt-out of non-essential notifications and can adjust their preferences at any time.
VI. User Information Protection
1. Customer Privacy Protection
The company is committed to safeguarding user personal data and privacy, strictly processing user information in accordance with international regulations (such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant laws). Without explicit user consent, the company will not share or disclose user information unless required by law.
2. Data Storage and Transmission
To fulfill obligations under this agreement, the company may need to store user data within its affiliated entities or transmit data to reliable third-party service providers, following applicable legal requirements.
3. Rights to Access and Modify User Information
Users can query and modify information through their accounts at any time. Should users request data deletion (except for parts required by law to retain), they can apply to the company, which will process it within a reasonable timeframe.
Chapter 3: User Obligations and Responsibilities
VII. Account and Password Management
1. Account Security Responsibility
Users should securely keep their account IDs and passwords, ensuring the account is used solely by themselves or authorized representatives. Consequences of account information leakage due to user personal reasons will be borne by the user.
2. Leakage Handling Process
Upon discovering unauthorized access to their account, users should immediately notify the company and modify their account password. The company is not responsible for losses due to delayed notification or failure to follow company instructions.
VIII. Prohibited Actions
1. Prohibited Violations
Users must not use platform services in the following ways; otherwise, the company reserves the right to immediately terminate services and take legal action:
- Engaging in illegal financial activities, such as concealing transaction origin or purpose of funds;
- Using the platform for fraud, money laundering, or other illegal activities;
- Spreading viruses, malware, or interfering with platform systems;
- Bulk crawling or copying platform data without company authorization.
2. Consequences of Violations
If user actions violate this agreement or applicable laws, the company has the right to suspend services, cancel accounts, freeze assets, or report to law enforcement agencies.
Chapter 4: Service Termination and Restriction
IX. Service Termination Mechanism
Users may apply to terminate their accounts and stop using the services at any time. Asset withdrawal arrangements following account cancellation will be properly handled according to platform policies.
If the user is found to have engaged in illegal conduct, violated the agreement, or failed to fulfill legal obligations (e.g., providing false identity information), the company reserves the right to terminate their services.
Chapter 5: Miscellaneous
X. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
1. Applicable Law
This agreement's subject is ROOSYS LIMITED, and the agreement is governed by the applicable laws of its place of registration but shall not deprive users of mandatory protection under the laws of their home country.
2. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute due to the performance of the agreement, both parties should prioritize resolving it through agreement negotiation. If negotiation fails, the matter will be submitted to the applicable arbitration body at the company's place of registration for a ruling.
